A Multi-Span Frame is a PEB framing system where the roof span is supported by interior columns in addition to the sidewall frames.
Unlike Clear Span, it reduces the span length by introducing interior supports, making it more economical for very wide buildings.
Commonly used when the building width exceeds 70–90 meters.
Interior columns present (divides span into smaller bays).
Economical for wide spans compared to clear span.
Stronger structural stability due to shared loads.
Allows installation of cranes or mezzanines more easily.
