C Purlin

C Purlins are secondary structural members made from cold-formed steel, shaped like the letter “C”.

They are mainly used to support wall cladding and sometimes roof sheets in smaller span buildings.

Like Z purlins, they transfer loads from sheeting to the primary framing.

Placed horizontally on rafters or columns.

Commonly used as roof and wall support members in PEBs.

Standard depth: 100 mm – 300 mm, thickness 1.5 mm – 3 mm.
